This is an entry level position, with room for advancement, in a specialized construction field that is in high demand.

If you aren't familiar with our scope of work; Abatement is the regulated removal of contaminants from residential, commercial, or industrial buildings, to allow for safe use of the space and renovation. Environmental work doesn't have to be scary- we go above and beyond for our crew when it comes to safety and monitoring! Worker/Construction Laborer:

Do you like getting your hands dirty? Do you love working in demolition and crave breaking stuff all day? Abatement Pro, Inc. is looking for some tough as nails people to work for us here
in Boise, ID.

Work hard with great people for a company that has been in business for over 15 years. This job isn’t easy and if you have what it takes to sling sledge hammers all day, we want to hear from you.

What you will need:

 Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently

 Must be safety minded and have no issues wearing personal protective equipment every day. We care about our people and safety is a priority with us.

 Must be able to work out of town if offered-we provide transportation, pay for lodging, and per-diem. It pays well to travel with us!

 Must be shift flexible. Occasional work in the evenings and weekends is part of the job.

 Must be able to work in confined spaces

 Experience with heavy equipment is a plus

What a typical day looks like:

 Arrive at the shop at the beginning of the day to load equipment and trailers

 Perform strenuous demolition to clear way for abatement

 Receive breaks and lunches throughout the day

 Clean and maintain tools

 Perform work safely in accordance with company safety procedures and operate equipment safely

 Go home with the satisfaction that comes from hard physical work.
This role includes paid training. If you are selected for asbestos abatement or other environmental abatement that we offer to our clients; we pay for your time and training as well as any equipment you will require.

Demolition of Highlands Elementary in Boise Idaho

The spires are about seventy feet tall and were connected together with eight pieces of 8x8 tube steel. We had to cut the steel with an oxygen-acetylene torch as near to the first spire as we could. We then attached a 150 foot 5/8 steel cable to the first spire and pulled it with the Cat 220 excavator until it came down. Rinse and repeat for the second spire. The Boise State University La Cross team cheered in the background when the second spire came down.
