Our blaster can remove any coating from any material very quickly! Our Media Blasting machine is versatile and can be used with other types of media ranging from very soft particles, such as soda, to very hard particles, such as garnet. The media used is determined by the type of surface being prepared. Blasting is safe on any surface including steel, wood, aluminum, fiberglass, concrete, tile, stone, and many more! Using water creates less friction and heat to minimize the warping of sheet metal. Media Blasting creates a surface ready for any paint to be applied. What is Media Blasting? Media Blasting is the fastest, safest, most cost effective surface preparation tool there is! Our Blaster uses an abrasive media to prepare any surface. What Types of Abrasive Does It Use? Our Blasting machine is versatile and can be used with many types of media, ranging from very soft particles, such as soda, to very hard particles, such as garnet. We prefer to use 100% recycled, crushed bottle glass because it's environmentally friendly, clean, and cost effective. Since Water is Sometimes Being Used, Won't This Process Rust Metal? We include a rust inhibitor to our blast pot in order to prevent flash rusting for up to 72 hours. It is recommended that the prepared surface be primed within 72 hours of being blasted. Is Media Blasting Messy? Since our Blaster can be used with water mixed into the media, the media will settle to the ground beneath whatever product is being blasted. The easiest way to clean up the used media is to put plastic beneath the work area before blasting, then roll up the plastic after blasting is complete. Can the Media Blaster Cause Warping like Sandblasting Can? Warping occurs when the metal heats up due to friction from dry, abrasive material, like sand. Our Blaster will not cause warping to any metal because the use of water cuts down on the amount of heat and friction produced during blasting. Can I Use My Own Rock/Stone For My Address Marker? We are always happy to come and check out your current stone for blasting. Some stones work better than others because sometimes stones may chip or flake when under the pressure of our Blaster. We want you to have a clear image on your stone, so we want to be sure we use the right kind of rock. Can you provide a stone for blasting? We have a variety of stones and boulders that you can choose from. We can send you pictures or you can come and see them in person and choose what will work best for you. We can also custom order stones if you are looking for something specific. Can you create a design for my stone? If you have an idea in mind, we can create a blastable image for your stone. How Much Does Blasting Cost? Blasting prices vary based on the size of your project. We are happy to come and give you a FREE estimate and hear how we can help bring your ideas to life. Is Our Project Too Small or Too Large for Blasting? There is no project too small or too large for blasting! We can help you meet your project needs, no matter the size. About the Owner
