Hey going be a hot week especially mid week they are calling for temperatures around 100 degrees and feel like 107 degrees. I know most will not turn thermostats up to 78. But in reality 75 would help take some stress of you units it be better to have house temperature of 75 to 78 than 90 degrees and no humidity being pulled out. And at least with it on 75 will give units some time to cut off at night. And give us a call if you need us. PS lots of units this week if we get in the high 90s are going to struggle to maintain 70 to 75 degrees even fairly new units depending on house construction and also units are not even engineered designed for 70 degrees indoors and 98 outside on residential equipment.

Hey during this hot spell and though out the Summer if your unit stops cooling but the indoor fan is still running do this first before you call your HVAC company. Look to see if you have a Duke Energy Load Control box on your unit or on wall near it. Look in the small window of the control if it’s a red light Duke is controlling your unit and they have cut it off. If it’s green then it’s not them controlling it so yes call your HVAC company. So give us a call if you need us but this tip may save you a service call had two units today that was the case talked guy into looking before I came he said it was red so he called Duke and they said yes it was them.

Looks like the Heat is finally getting here give us a call to get your A/C checked. Because just as sure as it hits 90 degrees and your A/C unit is low on Freon or a weak capacitor it will leave you hot and sweaty and no way to get cool. Don’t go to bed Hot give us a call.
