Praxis is applying genetic insights to the discovery and development of therapies for neurological disorders through our proprietary small molecule platform, Cerebrum™, and antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) platform, Solidus™, using our understanding of shared biological targets and circuits in the brain. Our mission is to help patients by delivering life-altering treatments faster and more effectively than has ever been done before – and to do it again and again. We pursue the development of candidates that address the treatment needs of patients, caregivers and the treating community, including targeting the underlying disease pathology versus just symptom management. We intend to develop therapies that provide patients long-term relief from their disorders and significantly reduce the overall burden to patients and caregivers.

Praxis Precision Medicines has announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted for review its New Drug Application for ulixacaltamide HCl for the treatment of essential tremor (ET) in adults, with a PDUFA target action date of January 29, 2027.

We are encouraged by this important milestone as we continue our work to advance an investigational therapy for patients living with essential tremor.

Praxis Precision Medicines today announced positive topline results from the EMBRAVE Part A trial of elsunersen in pediatric patients with SCN2A early-onset developmental and epileptic encephalopathy (DEE).

In the study, elsunersen demonstrated a 77% placebo-adjusted reduction in seizure frequency, with additional improvements observed across measures including sleep, motor function, muscle tone, and attention.

These findings support the continued development of elsunersen as a potential therapy for patients with SCN2A-related DEEs, as we advance our broader pipeline of precision neuroscience therapies.

Praxis Precision Medicines has announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted for priority review its New Drug Application for relutrigine for the treatment of SCN2A and SCN8A developmental and epileptic encephalopathies (DEEs), with a PDUFA target action date of September 27, 2026.

ICYMI: At our November 2025 All Hands, Praxons wore purple in support of the epilepsy community 💜

That day also included hands-on seizure first aid training and assembling newly diagnosed kits in partnership with the Epilepsy Foundation of New England. It was a meaningful reminder of the importance of showing up for patients and families beyond the lab.
