The CrossFit Total: Women’s Bounty Claimed

The Work-to-Body-Mass Ratio is an interesting metric we can calculate as it puts these incredible physical feats into perspective given the size and weight of the athletes. It basically measures pound-for-pound lifting performance. A higher ratio means the athlete produced more lifting work relative to their body size.

Going one step deeper - this score considers the weight lifted, how far the weight was moved, and the athlete’s body weight.

For example, if two athletes lift the same weight, the lighter athlete will have a higher Work-to-Body-Mass Ratio.
