Today, we are proud to announce that Il Yong Jung is joining Oncoheroes Biosciences as Senior Strategic Advisor, Asia Pacific, and has also decided to invest in the company.

Like our co-founders, Ricardo Garcia and Cesare Spadoni, Il Yong is a father whose life has been profoundly impacted by childhood cancer. His daughter, Yubin, was diagnosed with a tumor in her cerebellum in January 2025. She continues to undergo treatment and will live with long-term effects from it.

Experiencing firsthand the reality of childhood cancer, and the critical lack of therapies specifically developed for children, led Il Yong to take action.

Today, he joins Oncoheroes with a deep personal commitment to help accelerate the development of new treatments for children with cancer.

His involvement represents an important step forward in strengthening our global model and advancing our ability to bring therapies to children faster. It also reflects the kind of alignment that defines Oncoheroes, bringing together individuals who are driven not only by expertise, but by purpose.

After learning about ’s progress on the compounds in our pipeline, Sophia’s Fund chose to support us. Their contribution will be directed toward advancing our clinical trials. We’re excited to share that the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation has made a new investment in Oncoheroes Biosciences, reaffirming our shared commitment to bringing child focused cancer therapies to the patients who need them most.
