It's Construction Safety Week! This year's theme, “All in Together,” reinforces three core principles: Recognize, Respond, and Respect. These principles challenge us to take tangible action when conducting high energy, high hazard work to prevent serious injuries and fatalities.

Across our jobsites, our project teams will be participating in daily toolbox talks, a mid-week site stand-down, and an activity challenging individuals to identify why, and who, we work safely for. Though our work to build safely continues year-round, this week reinforces the importance of staying engaged and committed to recognizing risk, responding quickly, and respecting every individual on site.

Emerging technologies like quantum computing are shaping new standards across R&D, including highly specialized cryogenic and electronics infrastructure requirements. On a recent quantum computing laboratory project, DCBA managed the integration of ultra-low temperature systems, vibration-sensitive equipment, and complex MEP coordination within an active research environment.

Quantum facilities demand careful sequencing, close coordination, and expertise in precision construction to ensure critical systems perform flawlessly. Our project teams' experience in high-tech lab environments allows us to deliver these projects with confidence and predictability, keeping research facilities fully operational throughout construction.

DCBA is pleased to announce the completion of our project for Essential Pediatrics, an emerging healthcare provider specializing in concierge pediatric care.

In partnership with Gensler and Affiliated Engineers, Inc., our team delivered a purpose-built clinic designed to support a family-centered patient experience. The project included the build-out of exam rooms, a reception and patient lounge, and administrative areas, with careful coordination to bring the design vision to life while meeting the operational needs of a modern pediatric practice.

This project reflects the strong coordination between the project team and design partners to deliver a space tailored to Essential Pediatrics’ model of care. DCBA is proud to add this clinic to our growing portfolio of healthcare environments supporting innovative providers.

We’re proud to share the completion of our latest design-build project for Rennscot MFG at their Woburn, Massachusetts manufacturing facility. This marks our fourth project together, continuing our partnership as we support their team’s growth and expanding additive manufacturing capabilities.

This 20,000 SF renovation transformed an existing manufacturing and vehicle storage facility into a phased additive and advanced manufacturing expansion within the same footprint. The project includes dedicated 3D printing rooms housing advanced machines, along with essential support space and a manufacturing floor designed to support advanced CNC and fully automated equipment serving high-performance industries.

Our team spread some holiday cheer this week by expanding our annual donation drive to support both the Charlestown, MA Boys and Girls Club and LISTEN Community Services in the Upper Valley, NH. Together, we collected 245 pounds of food and more than 120 toys to support children and families across the communities where we live and work.

A big shoutout to our Dartmouth College project team for collecting the most donations and bringing some friendly competition to a great cause!
