Three accomplished Maine high school seniors from Augusta, Monmouth and Pittsfield have been named 2026 Longroad Scholars. The recipients have earned scholarships to support their undergraduate studies in either environmental science, general science, engineering, or technology.
The Longroad Scholars program is a community benefit initiative associated with five of our solar projects in Maine that operate in the communities of Augusta, Baldwin, Harmony, Monmouth and Pittsfield. The program recognizes students who have demonstrated high scholastic achievement, and either identify as part of a historically underrepresented community or are the first in their family to attend college.
Investing in education is one of the ways Longroad works to create lasting benefits in the communities where we work and live.
Congratulations to this year’s scholars and to their schools, Cony Middle and High School, Maine Central Institute, and Monmouth Academy.
