Lidia is passionate about "working on projects with real impact, ones that help people and businesses make better decisions using weather information." Her reasoning for joining the BECP: "I joined the BECP to support and empower early career scientists as they navigate the profession—drawing on my own path as an atmospheric scientist with a multidisciplinary, cross-cultural background. The Board gave me a direct way to help build professional development opportunities, improve representation, and connect early career scientists across disciplines and backgrounds."
