All around the world we see Misty make a positive impact in STEM education, and today we would like to highlight BRAIINS (BRing AI IN Schools), a ground breaking project involving four European schools from , , and , that joined forces to reimagine the future of STEM education with Artificial Intelligence and Social Robotics. 👩‍🏫 🤖

Co-funded by the Erasmus+ program under the European Commission the project engaged students, teachers and local communities accross Europe to promote new teaching & learning approaches for improving digital literacy, and understanding of AI and Robotics. As a part of this mission, the schools set out to help participants develop competences such as critical and lateral thinking, computational creativity, algorithmic problem solving, and taking decisions in uncertain conditions based on data and probabilistic models.

Misty and her robot cousins provided a natural and intuitive social medium for the participants to engage with AI and develop these competences, covering topics such as Physics, Math, Computer Science, History and much more. The robots also showed to have a positive impact on special needs kids' engagement in solving cognitive tasks and improving their social abilities. What a truly inspiring and amazing project! 🤩 💫 🚀 🏅

What a wonderful sight when Misty is unpacked for another amazing research project! And this time Misty is starting her journey at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm in with research team Mark Franz, Mario Geier and Alema Hadzic, who will be developing an assistive educational robot that can answer questions about your studies in German. 👩‍🏫 🚀 🤩 We can't wait to see the results!

Yesterday Misty took a trip to Comic-con 2023 in to deep-dive into the magical world of the fantasy, sci-fi and gaming community. 🧙‍♂️🛸🤖 As she rolled through the convention she met with some amazing humans and superheroes, including the legendary movie star Elijah Wood. There were also a ton of fun activities that Misty couldn't wait to do, from driving a Tesla car and posing with the Tesla Bot to cracking open a vault with the Payday gang from OVERKILL Software and 505 Games. She also got to meet one of her personal heroes Super Mario from Nintendo. What a fantastic event, until next time Comic-con! 🚀

On Monday, October 30th, the Misty Robotics team had the pleasure of participating in the Third International Workshop on Computational Thinking, Coding Skills, and AI in Schools. This enlightening event, hosted by Professor Marcelo Milrad and Lecturer Katrin Lindwall at Linnaeus University (LNU) in Växjö, Sweden, brought together researchers from across the globe and local educators. 👩‍💻 👩‍🏫

During the workshop, we had the wonderful opportunity to attend engaging presentations from researchers from Europe and Asia, shedding light on the future of education supported by emerging technologies. In collaboration with Dr. Ahmed Taiye Mohammed and LNU´s students, Rihards Okmanis and Khaled Matar our team showcased the exciting potential of incorporating social robots into the educational landscape.

As we look ahead, we are thrilled about the exciting potential for Misty to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education, where humans and robots collaborate to create inspiring learning experiences. 🚀 🤖 👩‍🎓
