We're happy to be a small part of a big family of organizations and people who are working hard to address this issue. We use data and technology to move consumer goods from retail stores to local food banks and pantries in the most efficient and scalable way possible. And we’re proud to work with Feeding America as we incrementally keep getting better at how we approach solving this problem.

Wegmans Food Markets has begun hiring and training full-time employees for its Astor Place supermarket in Manhattan, which marks its second location in New York City. The store will open at 770 Broadway in the latter half of 2023, and employ more than 500 people, including 200 full-time associates.
