This new technology will allow us to obtain rapid collecting high-resolution, centimeter-level accurate 3D elevation data and point clouds, which can be used to create detailed topographic maps and models of the Earth's surface. This technology allows for efficient data collection over large areas, pe*******on of vegetation to reveal the bare earth, detailed site planning, infrastructure design, and accurate environmental assessments. Primary Roles
•Responsible for the direct supervision and operations of the survey field crew
•Ensure surveys are compliant with the Practice Acts and Rules of the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in addition to Walters Land Surveying, LLC standards and requirements
•Creating accurate and detailed field notes in junction with the collection of data coordinated between the research department and field operations
•Strong technical knowledge of survey field equipment and data collection processes
•Subject matter expert related to the principles of land surveying with regards to rural property, subdivisions, topography, and more
•Performs mathematical calculations and checking of field data
•Ability to read and understand survey plats, working sketches, ROW maps, subdivision plats, and patents
•Engage with team members and inspire a sense of energy, ownership and personal commitment to the work

Walters Land Surveying Company is excited to announce the recent aquisition of Edwards Land Surveying Company's surveying records! This purchase not only adds the records of Tommy Edwards (RPLS No. 1869), but additional surveyor's records of Albert Devereux (Wise County Surveyor), Owen Funk (Registered Public Surveyor No. 216), and Jeff Fox (Wise County Surveyor, Registered Public Surveyor No. 452) dating back to the 1800's!

This will strengthen our researching capabilities within Wise county and the surrounding areas. Walters Land Surveying Company greatly appreciates the service Tommy Edwards has provided to not only Wise county, but the north Texas area since 1975. Tommy's hard work and dedication will continue to help us follow in the footsteps of the original surveyors.
