The OT teams have been responding to freezing plumbing and damaged lines this week. Make sure to take precautions to deflect unwanted pipeline damage, no matter how new the construction may be.

13° lows this coming weekend, make sure to take the proper steps if you haven't already this winter season!

-Insulate exposed or troublesome pipes if necessary.

-Open Cabinet Doors: Open the cabinet doors under sinks to allow warmer air to circulate around pipes.

-Drip your faucets!

-Seal any drafts around windows and doors.

-Keep your thermostat set to a consistent temperature, at least 55°F.

-Ensure gutters and downspouts are clear of leaves and debris to prevent ice dams.

-Disconnect and drain hoses, and install insulated covers on outdoor faucets.

This is also a great time to inspect roof for snow build-up, and check carbon monoxide detectors.

More winter weather is coming our way Bowling Green! Stay warm out there, and don’t forget to drip your faucets!

‼️Winter Storm WARNING is out for the entirety of WABBLES ☃️

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are expected. Along the KY/TN border, 4 to 6 inches with locally higher amounts are expected.

* WHEN...From 3am Friday to 6am Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. The Friday afternoon commute will be negatively impacted.
