We successfully installed a split ceiling system at Majestic Nails Salon, overcoming significant challenges along the way. This Armstrong drop ceiling grid system features a unique design, with missing tiles intentionally left out to accommodate the fire suppression sprinkler system, as per the owner's request.

Three months ago, I posted a job for a floor addition repair project. The previous contractor had done a subpar job, installing I-joists without waterproofing measures and using the wrong type of pipe for the French drain. We removed approximately 75% of the subfloor and replaced 14 severely damaged joists. The repair process involved jacking up the exterior and bathroom walls, installing a center beam, and fitting 14 split joists with 2x10 lumber. We then installed a new subfloor and laid carpet as the floor covering. Additionally, we addressed cosmetic issues by caulking, puttying, and painting the walls, ceilings, trim, and doors. We also fixed two leaks, one in the ceiling and the other behind the shower wall.

Exterior repairs included removing the old French drain, redirecting the new one with a dry well, and constructing a 23-foot concrete curb around the addition for water diversion.
