RP Masiello Inc Founded in 1976, RPMasiello is a design/build construction management firm in Central Massachusetts.

We are a commercial construction firm with over 45 years of building experience in the greater New England area. Our company is not a “briefcase” contractor; we still self-perform much of the work. We also curate relationships with subcontractors who are the best in their craft to complete each project. To date, we have completed over 250 new buildings, and more than 1,000 projects in total, spanning over 12 million square feet of commercial and industrial space, from Maine to Pennsylvania.

We have officially completed our project for EyePoint Pharmaceuticals and yesterday, Eyepoint President & CEO, Jay S. Duker, M.D. addressed the crowd and cut the ribbon at the official opening ceremony. The opening of this new state-of-the-art 40,000 sq.ft cGMP facility marks an important moment for both Eyepoint and the town of Northbridge, MA; as the expansion of Eyepoint's manufacturing operations is expected to meet the growing need of their patients and drive economic development and opportunity into Northbridge.

R.P. Masiello prides itself on being one of the few commercial contractors in Central Massachusetts that still maintains a full in-house construction team working every day on our projects alongside our subcontractors. We perform all of the various tasks needed on any project, from select demolition and on-site engineering, to select concrete, tilt-up panels and carpentry. By self-performing much of our work, we can quickly deploy our people to any project and ensure that tasks are completed on time, and to the highest standards. The RPM team brings this unique advantage to each project, allowing us to respond quickly to challenges and deliver exceptional results for our clients.

We have officially completed construction on our sixth building for UN1F1ED² Global Packaging Group in Sutton, MA. The newest project represents the sixth and seventh buildings we are constructing for Unified2; entailing over 1 million squarefeet of new manufacturing and industrial warehouse space. Our relationship with Unified2 began in 1998, when RPM was selected to build their first facility. We are thrilled about continuing our relationship with our longtime partners while witnessing their continued growth and success.

This Memorial Day weekend, we are taking a look back to honor and remember some of the American heroes that were born and raised in our local neighborhood of Worcester, Massachusetts. John DeGaetano and his brother, Joseph - the uncles to RPM president, David Masiello - both received Purple Hearts for their service in World War II. Joseph, a lieutenant who fought in the Battle of the Bulge in 1944, received medals of valor and a Purple Heart for his service in that battle.
Known as “the great uncle Johnny” to his beloved family, John served in a special operations unit conducting demolition operations during the first wave at Omaha Beach. As a result of these high risk assignments, Uncle Johnny was wounded in battle on July 4th and returned from the war permanently bound to a wheelchair. He died in 1968 as a result of complications from his wounds. Because of his distinguished service, the City of Worcester memorialized a square in his name in Worcester, - DeGaetano Square at Harrington Way, in Worcester, Massachusetts.

We are continuing our long relationship with E.L. Harvey with a complete rebuild of a maintenance garage, which we originally built in 1995.
Since 1977, R.P. Masiello has completed more than 15 major building projects for E.L. Harvey, including corporate offices, recycling buildings, transfer buildings, garages, and several others across their campuses in Hopkinton and Westborough, MA.
The new garage will be completed by the summer in 2024.

The new manufacturing facility for EyePoint Pharmaceuticals is coming along nicely. We caught some nice shots of the facility right as we're about to get thrown into the winter season. The steel is up, which means we're beginning to see the beautiful and modern design of the building come together.

Earlier this year, we completed construction of a new manufacturing facility for Unilock's Boston Division. Located in Uxbridge, MA, the new "Plant 4" is an ambitious expansion of their regional manufacturing campus, which consists of four customized manufacturing facilities. The newest plant features a 70-foot tall section that houses a mixing operation and includes various state-of-the-art manufacturing systems for Unilock's proprietary operations of their hardscape products.
Our relationship with Unilock began in 2000, when RPM was first contracted to build "Plant 3" for the Boston Division and have since, in the following 23 years, worked with our client to expand and build out the entire regional manufacturing campus.

The New England distribution center for Goya Foods in Webster, MA is fully operational. This 130,000 sqft. expansion of new space is our 6th new building project for Goya since 1989.
One of the key highlights of this project is the incorporation of modern clean energy requirements to comply with State regulations and to build a more energy-efficient operating environment.

We've built a decades-long partnership with Goya Foods and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with them as their operations continue to grow.

We’re partnering again with the for a historic renovation project in the heart of downtown Worcester - steps away from City Hall and Hanover Theatre. The historic structure, originally built in 1894 will be transformed to accommodate the growing revival of Worcester as a home for entrepreneurs and artists.
This is out second project working as the general contractor on a Menkiti development project - just a few years after our work on the revival of the former Worcester YMCA into the new 6 Chatham Street Lofts.
