At Coastal Copper Gutters, we elevate the standard for gutter installations, taking immense pride in the exceptional look of every system.

We live by the principles we teach, ensuring each install is held to the same high standard. We go above and beyond, using color-matched aluminum pop rivets instead of cheap, rust-prone steel screws.

These low-profile rivets resist corrosion and minimize sealant usage inside the gutter. We exclusively use Bostik 915, a premium, Miami-Dade approved sealant designed to withstand Florida's unforgiving weather.

Copper Gutter Repair – Palm Beach Island

These soldered outlets and seams are from a recent copper gutter repair we completed on Palm Beach Island. What you see in these photos is the result of careful preparation, patience, and craftsmanship.

Before any solder can be applied, the oxidized copper must be ground down to clean, bare metal. Every joint is then properly cleaned, fluxed, fitted, and heated to ensure the solder fully bonds with the copper—not just on the surface, but throughout the seam.

Quality copper work isn’t about hiding repairs; it’s about creating watertight, long-lasting connections that will perform for decades. The details most people never see are often the most important part of the job.

🔨 Jacksonville Copper Gutter Training Event 🔨🔥

This week we had the opportunity to head to Jacksonville and work alongside Chris and his team, providing hands-on training in the art of installing custom copper rainwater systems.

From fabricating long seamless copper runs on-site to building and soldering custom miters, outlets, and end caps, we covered the details that separate an average installation from a true craftsman’s installation. The photos show the process—from raw copper fabrication to finished architectural copper gutters installed on a beautiful custom home.

One of the things we enjoy most is helping other contractors expand their skill sets and confidence when working with premium copper systems. The knowledge, techniques, and attention to detail required for copper work can only be learned through hands-on experience.

Not every copper gutter project starts from scratch. This week, Coastal Copper Gutters was called to a beautiful Flagler estate to correct and repair a section of copper gutter that had been installed improperly.

Our team carefully removed the problem area, fabricated new copper components, and tied everything seamlessly into the existing system. The photos show the craftsmanship behind the work—hand-cut miters, soldered seams, custom outlets, and fully soldered joints designed to last for decades.

Copper isn’t forgiving. Matching existing copper, maintaining proper water flow, and creating watertight soldered connections takes experience, patience, and attention to detail. The silver-colored solder you see today will naturally blend as the copper continues to age and develop its rich patina.

Last week, we had the opportunity to travel to Tallahassee and spend time training alongside another gutter company. One of the things I love most about this industry is that there is always something new to learn and always an opportunity to help others grow.

Success isn’t built by guarding knowledge—it’s built by sharing it. When skilled craftsmen come together, exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and refine techniques, everyone gets better. The quality of work improves, customers receive a better product, and our trade becomes stronger as a whole.
