Have you ever wondered why our plumbers drive trucks featuring one of America's most famous Founding Fathers?

Benjamin Franklin wasn't actually a plumber but he was known for something that perfectly aligns with what we strive for every day: honesty, reliability, innovation, and exceptional service.

When the Benjamin Franklin Plumbing brand was created, the founders chose Benjamin Franklin as the company's namesake because his values reflected the type of service customers deserve. Franklin was known for his wisdom, hard work, punctuality, and reputation for doing things the right way.

One of his most famous quotes is: "It takes many good deeds to build a good reputation and only one bad one to lose it."

That philosophy became a cornerstone of the Benjamin Franklin Plumbing brand and remains a guiding principle today.

Throughout his career, he has helped build high-performing teams, scale operations, and create cultures rooted in accountability, integrity, and performance.

A retired United States Navy veteran with 22 years of service, Mark is passionate about developing people, improving the customer experience, and driving operational excellence through leadership and innovation.

Yesterday, our team had the opportunity to visit the Ronald McDonald House for the second time, and once again it was such a meaningful experience.🌮

This time, we put together a taco bar dinner for the families staying there. Being able to provide a warm meal, spend time together, and support families going through difficult moments is something we are truly grateful for.

At Service Minds, giving back to the communities we serve is important to us. Thank you to everyone on our team who helped make this happen, your kindness and willingness to serve others is what makes our company special.

Beyond the Job 🏃‍♂️

At Service Minds, our team members don’t just show up, they push boundaries, set goals, and challenge themselves in ways that inspire all of us.

Meet Michael Kammer, who recently completed the Rome Marathon a journey that demanded consistency, discipline, and resilience long before race day ever arrived. From early mornings to long training runs, Michael balanced it all while continuing to show up strong at work.

Race day was more than just crossing a finish line. Running through historic streets, he experienced the highs, the challenges, and the moments of reflection that come with chasing a meaningful goal.

His biggest takeaway? Growth happens when you push beyond what’s comfortable and stay committed to the process.

And he’s not stopping there, next up, Michael is taking on a 46-mile run along the Pinellas Trail this Labor Day weekend.

We’re proud to have team members like Michael who embody perseverance, dedication, and a drive to keep going, both on and off the job.

This past Saturday, Service Minds had the privilege of participating in an incredible event supporting the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation through Fashion Funds the Cure.

We were especially honored to connect with families and be part of such a meaningful experience, helping celebrate resilience, hope, and community. A special thank you to Paul for stepping in as a role model for Jayce. Moments like these are a powerful reminder of why showing up matters.

We’re grateful to everyone who made the event possible, including the families, organizers, and volunteers who continue to inspire us.
