Welcome to the Team | Intern Spotlight

Please help us welcome Reighan Barnes to Gilreath Construction as our newest intern.

Reighan is a student in the Construction Management program at the University of Southern Mississippi and is eager to gain real-world, on-the-job experience in commercial construction. During her time with Gilreath Construction, Reighan will be exposed to estimating, project management, and day-to-day field and office operations.

Originally from Gluckstadt (Germantown HS), Mississippi, Reighan brings strong motivation and a hands-on mindset as she works to bridge classroom learning with practical application in the construction industry.

Gilreath Construction served as the General Contractor for the Brandon Big Room Renovation for the City of Brandon. Renovations included extension of the stage, addition of +-60,000 lbs of structural steel so that obstructive, existing columns could be removed to enhance and improve the venue’s experience; foundation work and additional misc finishes and electrical improvements.
The project was completed within a challenging timeframe of 60 days and disruption was limited so that the Owner could continue utilizing the venue.
