Under Construction: Brown Strauss Steel – Banning Distribution Center
Vertrees A&E is providing full architectural and structural engineering for Brown Strauss Steel’s new 15-acre distribution facility in Banning, California.
This 45,000 SF Nucor pre-engineered metal building is designed for high-capacity storage of wide-flange beams and structural tubing. Key features include two 10-ton overhead bridge cranes, two massive 55' wide Schweiss vertical bi-fold doors, Metl-Span insulated metal panels, and Extech polycarbonate clerestory panels for excellent natural daylighting.
The facility also includes a 3,500 SF office and a fully paved yard optimized for operations and storage.
Delivered through a design-build partnership with Bremco Construction, Inc. serving as the general contractor.
