Description:
The role of the Quality Control manager is to verify the quality of the project from design through construction. The Quality Control manager acts as the liaison for the company to communicate with government agencies and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
Maintain daily reports (QCS/RMS system)
Verify Project conforms to RFP, Proposal, IFC drawings & Specifications
Conducting weekly Quality Control meetings
Coordinate 3rd party inspections
Manage RFI/ASI approvals
Experience:
Design Build experience
Worked on DOD contracts.
QCS/RMS system
Efficient in Microsoft programs Word, Excel, Outlook
Education:
Must have bachelor’s degree: construction management, engineering or architecture.
CQMC certificate within last 5 years
IBC certificate
Work Conditions:
Quality control managers are typically assigned to one project where they will be in a field office for the duration construction.
Extended hours and weekend work may be required based on the conditions of the project.
