You’ve been a carpenter for a few years now (at least). You know there are times where it feels like the same thing every day. We think you can break that monotony at Nordic Services, Inc. and hone your skills while working for a family owned business that cares about YOU as a person.

Why are we different?
- We’ve been family owned since 1982 with two offices in Seattle and Bremerton. We’ve been around!
- As area leaders in the restoration and repair industry, no two jobs are alike. They each require your experience, creative thinking and diligence to achieve quality, timely work.
- As a rule, we typically do not schedule weekend work! That’s right, most weekends are yours! In exchange though, we do require our carpenters to respond to emergency calls after hours – on an on-call, rotation basis. We do pay a stipend when you are on call in addition to any hours you may work.
- While all construction has cycles, we tend to have less of a cycle because of the nature of our work. We are committed to working our hardest to keep you working in the field!

Nordic Services, Inc is a general contractor specializing in fire and water damage repairs, and remodel to building structures. We've been in business since 1982. We're looking for a motivated general worker who is interested in steady hard work, and learning new skill sets. There would be an opportunity to move up into more skilled positions with higher pay.

The following items are required to qualify for this position:

Prefer at least high school diploma

Provide general labor performing various tasks on construction job sites.

Perform various shop duties and responsibilities

Drive truck, load and haul materials and debris

Must be available for after hours emergency services. (overtime pay)

Must be able to lift 80lbs

Must have a valid Washington State drivers license

Must pass a background test

Must pass a drug test

Can transition to a carpenter position down the road if desired.

Also, Emergency service response is required on an on call, rotation basis. Overtime and weekly stipend while on call.
