A few months ago, we said this was a project we’d remember for the grit it took to get across the finish line.

Last week, we got to watch Mayor Freddie O’Connell cut the ribbon and officially welcome Nashville to River North Greenway.

Senior Project Manager Phil Huffman and Superintendent Tracy Fuson spent a lot of time answering, “Do you think we could…?” with “Yup.” Then figuring out how.

Now phase one is open, with the greenway eventually connecting two miles to Shelby Bottoms.

Getting it built was good. Seeing Nashville get to use it is better.

Some projects are remembered for their size. Others are remembered for the grit it takes to get them across the finish line.

Today we celebrated the completion of the South Greenway Improvements project along the Cumberland River. Through challenges, field adjustments, and plenty of creative problem-solving, our team never lost sight of the goal: delivering a space that connects people to Nashville's riverfront.

Special thanks to Phil, Tracy, Chris, and Ethan for embodying the perseverance, teamwork, and "push through" mentality that made this project possible. We're proud of the result and even prouder of the team behind it. 💪🌿

We’re excited to celebrate our team, TPC Tribe, for winning this year’s TennGreen Land Conservancy Hike-A-Thon! 🌿🥾

Back in April, our team hit the trails with purpose and ended up raising the most money during Hike-A-Thon 2026, which also became a record-breaking year for TennGreen with more than $306K raised for conservation efforts across Tennessee 🌿

We’re proud to support an organization that works every day to help both the people and natural spaces of Tennessee thrive.

And a special shout-out to Otis (and his famous Crocs 👏) for being the TPC Tribe team member who raised the most money and brought in the most unique donors! (And another special shout out to for her enthusiasm to make sure Otis took home this honor!)

We also loved getting to continue the celebration together at last night’s happy hour. Thanks to everyone who hiked, donated, supported, and showed up along the way! We couldn’t have done it without you.
