Construction is now complete on the new Gouverneur Wellness Center, a state-of-the-art facility that will be operated by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH). Our team was proud to develop and deliver this purpose-built space in close coordination with DASNY, providing OMH with the modern environment they need to expand critical mental health services in the community.

We’re grateful to have played a part in bringing this important resource to life, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have for years to come.

Join us Tuesday, April 29th at 11 AM at 132 Harrison St. for a celebration of progress and community. Hosted by NEW CDM, LLC and Housing Visions. All are welcome!

Please join us for a groundbreaking ceremony celebrating Coventry Commons, a transformative redevelopment that will bring 101 affordable and workforce housing apartments to the heart of Newark, NY.

Located just a 3- to 5-minute walk from Main Street, this project reactivates the historic Reed Manufacturing Co. complex and strengthens the village’s downtown core. It offers a vital housing option for both existing and aspiring residents—helping ensure that the future of the community remains in attainable and rooted.

Exciting news as we officially begin construction on Coventry Commons, our latest development project in partnership with Housing Visions! This transformative initiative will breathe new life into the historic 150,000 SF facility at 132 Harrison St., creating 101 much-needed residential units in the Village of Newark.

This project was made possible through a strong collaboration with New York State Homes and Community Renewal and the critical support of Empire State Development, which provided key funding through the DRI and Restore NY programs. We are also grateful to officials at Wayne County New York and the Village of Newark, whose leadership and commitment to revitalization helped make this project a reality.

The building itself carries a rich history—once home to Reed Manufacturing and later the renowned Sarah Coventry Jewelry Co. Now, thanks to its historic designation by New York State Parks Recreation & Historic Preservation, we have the opportunity to preserve its legacy while shaping its future.

A special thank you to Passero Associates, our architectural partner, for their vision and expertise in bringing this project to life.

Anticipated completion: Fall 2026 🏡
