I often keep business as business and personal away from professional but not today.
Just over one week ago I lost my best little buddy Jagger to oral melanoma cancer. He had many nicknames with one being “The Inspector”. Every project performed at my home he was involved in and paid very close attention to the performance of work! That’s how he earned the name the inspector!
So prior to his passing, we discussed plans for his memorial reflection garden. I focused on four principles, first location. Upon returning home from work, if outside he would always be positioned at the gate to greet me with a smile and his wagging tail. This site is geographically positioned to capture full sun from sunrise to sunset.
Second, the water basin symbolizing life as water makes up more than 70% of our bodies as well as our planet.
Thirdly, the spirals to represent the twists and turns life throws at everyone of us on a regular basis. For more than seven months this little boy never skipped a beat and fought tirelessly to maintain his character and keep our family happy despite the realities going on.
While lastly, the rock to represent his presence, character, and impact throughout our household.
It is nearly complete and will always serve as a lasting testimony to his spirit and beauty. God speed Jagger little monkey man. We miss you and will always love you.
