Walls, elevators, siding, masonry… The Windward Apartments are checking a lot off the list. ✔️

Inside, drywall taping and elevator installation are underway, while outside, siding is nearing completion and masonry work continues along the north and west sides.

It’s an exciting stage of the project as more of the building’s finished look starts to come into view, both inside and out.

The brick is going up and the finishes are going in at Wall Street Place East! 🧱

The north and west elevations are taking shape with thin brick installation, while inside, final painting is in progress on floors 3 and 4 and flooring is nearing completion.

These finishing details are making a big difference as Wall Street Place East gets closer to its final look.

That battery sitting on the charger? It deserves a second look. 🔋👀

It’s Fire Prevention Week, and this year’s focus hits especially close to the jobsite: battery charging safety.

Power tool batteries are part of the everyday routine, but damaged batteries, improper chargers, and the wrong charging location can create a serious fire risk.

A few reminders from Team Viking: use manufacturer-approved chargers, charge in a cool, dry area away from combustibles, and inspect batteries and chargers for damage before use.

From construction site to home sweet home. 🏠👏

Wall Street Place North is getting closer to the finish line! The streetscape is nearly complete, the punch list is wrapping up, and residents are already beginning to occupy their new homes.

The team is now working toward a Certificate of Occupancy by the end of September, putting the finishing touches on another exciting chapter at Wall Street Place.

Genesis is studying Construction Management at Central Connecticut State University and is on track to graduate this December. Throughout college, she has earned Dean’s List recognition every semester while balancing her education with work, community involvement, and hands-on experience through internships.

With a passion for construction, a strong work ethic, and goals of continuing to grow as a leader in the industry, Genesis has an exciting future ahead of her.

35 years, a whole lot of memories, and more than a few pigs on the roast. 🐷🔥

For our September 35-Year Throwback, we’re looking back at one of Viking’s most special traditions: our pig roasts!

From the pig and the T-shirts to donations, bounce houses, and plenty of time spent together, these events have always been about bringing our Viking community together, having some fun, and giving back along the way.

The details may change from year to year, but the tradition and the people behind it are what make it so special.

$4,657 raised for a great cause! 👏

Giving back is one of the most important parts of our annual Pig Roast, and each year, we’re proud to use this Viking tradition to support an organization in our local community.

For 2026, that organization is Southwest Community Health Center, Inc., and we’re proud to donate $4,657 to support the work they do.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped us make an impact beyond the Pig Roast!
