Join us for our fifth annual Arts, Beats, and Treats event! On May 20th from 6pm till 9pm, we will be showcasing student artwork from all district campuses as well as offering free coffee drinks and smoothies, treats, student musicians, and a student marketplace! There will be activities for all ages including a coloring station, balloon animals, and face painting, so bring your family! Donations are always welcome, and proceeds from the marketplace and activities will benefit the CSPA Art Guild.

Last weekend, we participated in the FIRST In Michigan State Championship at Saginaw Valley State University on the DTE Energy Field.

The competition was fierce and the commaraderie amongst FIM teams was amazing! We truly enjoy interacting with teams from all over the state and teams with whom we've built strong relationships.

Thank you FRC 67 Heroes of Tomorrow for selecting us to be on your alliance along with the CC Shambytes. Our alliance worked together to make it to the last match before the finals on our field.

We echo your congrats to the truly impressive DTE energy winning alliance and State Champions: Team 27- Team Rush, Team 7769 - The Crew, and Team 3668 - The Trobots!

FRC 6002 competed at the Michigan State Championships at SVSU over the past three days.

We played in the DTE Division alongside the #1 and #2 ranked teams in Michigan. After a strong showing in qualification matches, we finished ranked 4th and were selected by the Catholic Central High School CC Shambots to join Alliance #2, alongside the Frankfort Robotics Team FPRO.

Our alliance fought our way all the way to the division finals, battling through several tough matches—especially against Alliance #7, FRC 67 Heroes of Tomorrow, GEMS Robotics - FRC 4362, and CC Shambytes. In the end, the powerhouse #1 Alliance of FIRST Team RUSH 27, FRC Team 7769 : The CREW, and the Whitmore Lake Robotics TroBots proved too difficult to overcome, and we finished as DTE Division Finalists.

We were also honored to receive the Judges Award, recognizing our team ethos: “Fail Fast, Fail Frequently, Fail Forward.” This mindset drives us to embrace failure as an opportunity to learn, grow, and keep pushing forward.

To top it all off, we’ve officially received an invitation to compete at the World Championship in Houston at the end of the month!
