Wind turbine blades are designed to withstand the harsh weather conditions they may experience during the operating lifespan of the project. Operations and Maintenance team members will conduct regular assessments of each turbine – its tower, blades, gear boxes, nacelles and other components to ensure the turbine itself is operating at peak efficiency.

If blades or other components become faulty, wind turbine technicians will ensure timely repairs of the turbines to get them back up and running.

The Four Creeks Wind project represents an investment of over $1.5 billion into Peoria County, creating more than 230 direct construction jobs and resulting in approximately $19.8 million in construction wages.
