Friday shout out to the King Marine Crew for the completion of the final phase of old foam replacement at Painter Creek Marina (Sabrina Brown). Over the last 2 years crews have worked on various phases during the off season in preparation for the new TVA guidelines that all foam flotation will need to be encapsulated. This capital improvement has set the milestone for Painter Creek Marina, as they are the first marina on South Holston Lake to be in compliance in advance of the 2030 deadline. It's with much appreciation to all the King Marine crew for working in the not so warm water. Great work guys and thanks to Painter Creek Marina (Sabrina Brown) and their great staff.

King Marine is happy to announce the maiden voyage of our 135,000lb lift barge. This barge was completely built and designed in-house. It is completely modular and can be assembled and disassembled in a couple hours. We have plans and are capable of mobilizing to any lakes that we can be a service to our customers.
The barge was utilized to lift a floating cabin completely out of the water. This application allowed our crews to replace non-encapsulated foam with TVA required encapsulated foam. This barge will also allow an inspection of the underside of the cabins and improvement, or replacements as needed to any structural components. King Marine puts a high priority on conservation and this process allowed us to complete the construction process to a minimal and all most non-existent debris escape into the lake from the construction process. Under a normal foam replacement project, the old deteoriated foam will crumble, break apart and float away living a debris field around the cabin.

We would like to thank Debbie Nunn for allowing us to work on her cabin. Thanks to Painter Creek Marina for allowing us to move the boat closer to shore and complete the foam replacement.
