We would like to welcome Giovanni to DACRUZ Manufacturing: Giovanni has worked in manufacturing since 1978. While he has not had direct experience on CNC machines, he is excited to learn and feels his experience will allow him to pick it up quickly.

Yesterday was National Philanthropy Day! 2020 has shown us now more than ever how fortunate we are in such uncertain times. Our DACRUZ team is happy to work together to support our community. We were able to deliver our donations to the 2020 Joy of Sharing Food Drive with the United Way of West Central CT along with a company monetary donation this week. Proud of our team for coming together for a good cause!

A special thank you to Kevin, our CNC Swiss Operator Trainee, who has been with DACRUZ Manufacturing for 7 months. Kevin served in the United States National Guard as a helicopter maintenance technician for 4 years. Thank you for your service, Kevin!

Our 5th year celebrating Manufacturing Day looked a little different this year! We were happy to conduct our first virtual event and hope our attendees left feeling inspired by our industry and the impact manufacturers can make. Thank you to our team members, Lisa Nollman and Alex Cardoso, for giving their personal stories and sharing their experiences to our attendees. We look forward to hosting again next year!

Lisa Nollman, our Sales Engineer, was lead Organizer for the Farmington “First” Expo held this past weekend at Farmington High School. We are proud of her involvement in a firstinspires.org event which helps “to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership”.

Lisa and this event further promotes the DACRUZ Manufacturing philosophy of building strong families and strong communities through local involvement.
