Had a call from long leaf timber to straighten a bolster on a log trailer that had split the crossmember just outside of a previous repair someone had made. Had to start by cutting both existing gussets from the frame of the trailer to the cross member off to help loosen the bolster up some to make it easier to pull back over and went ahead and cut the crack open a little more with the torch, that way when the bolster got pulled back over there would still be a gap for good pe*******on to repair the crack, then cut half inch plate for lap patches on the front, back and top of the crossmember where the repair was made and welded them out with 7018 1/8” rods all weld joints got a root and 2 pass cap. Then cleaned up and re welded the gussets back on. Yall get with me for any of your welding repairs! Whether it be any logging equipment, heavy machinery, industrial machinery, pipe etc. I can do it all and can insure quality for any job! Thanks!
