Just completed this custom bookshelf for a fantastic client! 🔥

Built from sanded oak plywood with a rich dark walnut stain and protected with multiple coats of brush-on and spray polyurethane for a deep, durable, furniture-quality finish that will hold up for years.

The design captures that classic cigar lounge / slightly Victorian gentleman’s club vibe — warm rich tones, ornate trim details, and plenty of room for books, ci**rs, decanters, or display pieces. Perfect for a sophisticated home library or reading nook.

Every custom piece from Achilles Construction & Remodel is built with care right here in Oklahoma. Sanded smooth, stained evenly, and sealed properly so it looks and feels like high-end furniture.

We installed a spinning lazy Susan to conquer the corner dead zone, then crafted 8 custom soft-close pull-out shelves — tiered for easy access to everything from Bush's beans to heavy pots and pans.
