A special shoutout to Matt, Paul, our crews, subcontractors, and project partners for bringing these updated learning spaces to life. We’re excited to see them put to use!

It's Official! The BHS Science Department Renovation is Complete!

An exciting milestone for Brookings High School! Mills Construction has officially turned over occupancy of the newly renovated science department to the District!

The completed renovation brings updated classrooms and improved learning spaces for our students and staff.

A special thank you to Mills Construction and CO-OP Architecture for their work in bringing this project to completion, and to Brian Corlett, District Facilities Supervisor, for his dedication and assistance throughout the construction and transition process.

We also extend our appreciation to our BHS teachers and students for their patience and flexibility during construction. We're excited for them to begin utilizing these newly renovated spaces!

💙💛 Building community—and getting ready for Hobo Day!

Our windows are decorated, packet pickup is underway, and we’re excited for tomorrow’s 31st annual Bob Bartling Hobo Day 5K! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Mills Construction is proud to support this Brookings tradition by partnering with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Prairie Striders, sponsoring the race, and hosting packet pickup at our office. Our president, Randy Hanson, serves as Race Director, making this event especially close to the MCI family.

Thank you to the volunteers, sponsors, and participants who make it all possible. Whether you’re running, volunteering, or cheering, we look forward to celebrating with you tomorrow!

🔬 The Finish Line Is in Sight at Brookings High School! 🏗️

The Science Lab Renovations are taking shape! Cabinets, ceilings, flooring, and finishing touches are coming together as Matt and his crew push toward completion in early November.

These aren't just renovated classrooms—they're spaces where students will explore, experiment, and discover for years to come!

🏗️ More Progress, More Projects at Crenlo! 💪

Our work at Crenlo Engineered Cabs continues! With the old compressor room transformed into additional manufacturing space, Nick and his crew are now tackling new concrete projects, including driveways, sidewalks, and a truck dock replacement.

There's no better compliment than a customer trusting us with MORE work!

The SDSU Soccer Venue project is officially underway! Despite a rainy start, site work is moving forward, and footings and foundations for the Operations Building are next!

Led by Keegan, Erick, and their crews, we're excited to help bring this new athletic facility to life!

🐾 Paws-itively Awesome in Watertown! 🏗️

The new Canine Country Club is officially welcoming its four-legged guests, and the owners couldn't be happier!

With just a few finishing touches remaining, Chris Christopherson and his crew have delivered another beautiful facility—and earned some “top notch” praise from the owners along the way!

Great work, team! Building dreams, one project (and paw print) at a time! 🐶💚

Building skills. Exploring futures! 🔨

Mills Construction was proud to help at today’s AGC Construction Career Camp at Lake Area Technical College!

From carpentry and welding to concrete and operating heavy machinery, students gained hands-on experience and explored the many career opportunities in construction.

Thank you to AGC and Lake Area Technical College for helping introduce the next generation to the skilled trades. We enjoyed being part of their day!

🦷 Madison Family Dental – Nearing the Finish Line!
Greg and the crew are closing in on completion! Exterior siding, stone, and signage are finished, while cabinetry, countertops, and final details are coming together inside. Final turnover is planned for late September, with Madison Family Dental opening in October! 👏
