Powerlift Hydraulic Doors of Alaska recently completed the installation of a new 76' x 20' aircraft hangar door at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Anchorage, Alaska. The project was part of an effort to replace several outdated hangar door systems with modern, dependable solutions capable of meeting the demands of military aviation operations.
Designed and engineered for long-term performance in Alaska’s challenging climate, this custom PowerLift hydraulic door provides smooth operation, reliable access, and the durability required for daily aircraft movements. The one-piece hydraulic design maximizes clear opening space while reducing maintenance concerns often associated with older door systems.
We are proud to have partnered on this important upgrade and to provide a door system built to serve those who serve our country. Projects like this demonstrate why PowerLift doors continue to be trusted for aviation facilities where performance, reliability, and safety are critical.
