Our Warehouse team recently came together for a fun outing at Dave & Buster’s, taking on a fast-paced scavenger hunt that put their communication, teamwork, and gaming skills to the test—with the winning team earning a rubber chicken trophy.

We wrapped up with some more friendly competition in the arcade—plenty of camaraderie and fun all around! 🎯🎮

Our 2nd Ops/Assembly team is powered by great people with a strong focus on continuous improvement and teamwork. Our 2nd shift Leads, Olga and Osmar, have helped drive meaningful improvements while supporting their team and empowering others to share ideas and take ownership. Their focus on quality, safety, and teamwork continues to make a lasting impact across the department.

Last week, we celebrated our 2025 results and the incredible people and teams behind them. We’re incredibly proud of our staff and the teamwork, enthusiasm, and commitment to continuous improvement demonstrated throughout the year.

We had a prize wheel 🎡, mini-putt for larger prizes (turns out we have a lot of exceptionally good putters draining their 8-ft putts! 👀⛳), and an all-company meal on Wednesday, followed by an escape room and results-review luncheon for leadership on Thursday. It was a fun and meaningful way to reflect on what we all accomplished together.

Thank you to every team member who made 2025 a success—here’s to an even better year ahead!

The holidays are in full swing at Mikros Engineering! From a festive door decorating competition (won by the warehouse team), to a fun gift exchange, food, and team games, everyone brought the holiday cheer and made the week another memorable one.

We’re grateful for the time, effort, and enthusiasm that went into making this celebration special. Events like these highlight the strong culture, collaboration, and positivity that make Mikros great.

🎃 Happy Halloween from Mikros Engineering! 👻

We celebrated with a costume party, spaghetti tower-making competition, and lots of candy! The party was hosted by our 2nd Ops/Assembly group, who brought the fun (as always!) and made the day a great success – our best one yet! A big thanks to everyone who joined in the spooky spirit to have a little fun.

We had an incredible day at Special Forces Paintball this past weekend for our fifth annual Mikros Fall Classic! Eight competitive matches kept the energy high, with both teams splitting the series 4–4. Although the red team lost the final match, they insisted they had more style and declared themselves the true winners.

Great competition, lots of laughs, and a perfect Minnesota Fall day to top it off!

Shoutout to our amazing interns! This summer, they jumped right in and made a meaningful impact at Mikros—tackling projects from reviewing and creating work instructions, to expanding and improving our Kanban systems, and supporting our purchasing and operations teams.

To cap off the summer, our purchasing team and interns met up for a Minnesota Twins game to celebrate their hard work, energy, ideas, and fresh perspectives. Thank you both for an outstanding summer—we can’t wait to see your bright futures continue to flourish!
