Manufacture New York Our mission is to reawaken & rebuild America’s fashion industry. Founded in 2012 in Brooklyn, NY.

Manufacture New York is an innovative, inclusive fashion incubator and vertically-integrated facility startup that has opened a Pilot Program in the Garment Center. We are dedicated to providing emerging designers with the resources + skills to streamline their production process and transform local manufacturing into the most affordable, innovative option for all. We are also a diverse community

of 50+ creatives who are already sharing resources + working together to make this project a reality. Our headquarters will include a fully-equipped sampling room, manufacturing facilities, classroom space (open to the public), private studios for rent and a state-of-the art computer lab complete with the industry’s latest software for design + production. We will also offer a dedicated area for experimentation with environmentally-friendly fabric washes, dyeing, finishes and special textile applications. We are back! Join our founder- 20 year fashion veteran, Made In USA sustainable manufacturing advocate and Women's March co-founder Bob Bland tonight at 7PM EST with NYC organizer + City Council candidate Shahana Hanif to mark the 110th anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire. The topic will be Building a People Powered Economy for NYC Workers, Small Businesses & Manufacturers.

We would love for you to join us- RSVP here: http://bit.ly/PeoplePowerMar25

To cap off Women's History Month, we are honoring the memory of the 146 garment workers, mostly young Jewish immigrant women, who died from the lack of workplace safety regulations and uplift links between our past and current ethical fashion & labor rights movements.

Speakers include:

- Katie Unger, 4th generation Jewish labor organizer
- Ligia Guallpa, Executive Director of Workers Justice Project
- Swati Argade, ethical fashion designer + owner of Bhoomki
- Bhumika Muchhala, Feminist Green New Deal

This conversation has national implications, so please attend whether you're from NYC or not. These visionary women will share on-the-ground stories on how we can protect essential workers and small businesses, advance a feminist COVID–19 recovery, and create a people-powered economy that centers local manufacturing, creative industries, green jobs, and gender justice.

Hope to see you there!
