Despite the lack of a traditional college degree, his experiences fueled his drive to excel in diverse business processes. In 2014, he seized the opportunity to join the Executive Office of the Department of Political Affairs at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, where he made significant contributions as an Information Management specialist. Driven by a deep sense of purpose, Mainza accepted a newly created Information Systems position with the Security Council within the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs and the Department of Peace Operations in 2016. Mainza's exceptional contributions to the design and implementation of the United Nations Security Council Sanctions Application Systems showcased his expertise in overcoming challenges through strategic collaboration.
