Dear friends, fans, artists and associates,
Today marks the release of the third and final installment in Brooklyn-based producer A.M. Breakups' Rust Trilogy series. Here at Reservoir Sound, we think that this 5 song digital release, Order of Operations, serves as a fitting bookend to his previous sets of dark, experimental hip-hop beats that Breakups has released over the past two years. If you haven't checked out volumes one and two, now is the time. Let's not get too wordy though, you can decide what it is on your own...
Over the time spent creating these three records, A.M. Breakups has worked with a wide range of talents including Armand Hammer (billy woods & Elucid), Eliot Lipp, Tomorrow Kings, Blockhead, Vordul Mega (of Cannibal Ox), Uncommon Nasa, GDP, PremRock & MC K~Swift, as well as operating and handling production for a number of the Reservoir Sound collective's releases.
Last year we were proud to present the limited edition vinyl release, Cult Favorite's For Madmen Only LP, produced by A.M. Breakups with raps by Elucid. The first quarter of the new year will mark the unveiling of a similarly impressive and immersive album created by A.M. Breakups alongside Brooklyn's own Warren S. Britt and Dj Jimmy Da Gent as We Are Not For Them. Brace yourselves.
We appreciate your continued support in our often strange, primarily DIY endeavors. At this point, Reservoir Sound has played countless shows and tours, seen our releases celebrated by folks across the globe, and very simply, yet very importantly, have gotten to shake hands and toast with so many of you who appreciate what we do. We hope you enjoy A.M. Breakups' Order of Operations EP. Thank you all and stay tuned!!!
