Sometimes when we have something quick to do or materials to pick up to drop off we take the old man with us. He sleeps most of the ride. But he does love it.

Started work on a massive 300 yard driveway for a custom home builder. They wanted each 8'x20' section to have the tooled hand joint look, picture framed around each rectangle, a broomed texture finish each different direction. All staggered to split the areas into thirds. On top of all the different elements is the correct placement of each "box". We have another 100' to get to the house as its all going to connect so our numbers have to be on as close as they can be. Every element is done by hand. We have the first 100 yards on the ground. That kinda funny feeling when you take a few extra minutes to go through your books and see you spent almost $5,000 on fuel in three months! Spend money to make money. Sometimes a little more than you want to!

We got the call from a previous customer about wanting some light clearing being done on their newly acquired lot. Had a few dangerous dead oaks that had to come down. A few trailers hauled off, some stumps pulled up and we had the job completed. We’ve worked with this customer for almost three years now. Couldnt be more greatful for the continued business.

Now though these two pictures might look funny to make a post about, this is actually an important step in keeping things efficient. When we have the slow days to take, we go through all the lumber we frequently use for jobs and make sure everything is acceptable. Trimming forming stakes down, removing nails, cleaning. All things that make the next few months of work seemless. It’s not a whole lot of fun when you’re digging for 10 minutes to find a straight board. Little things that make all the difference!

New truck added to the fleet! We have been blessed with an abundance of work. Making sure we properly and patiently invest in the next step keeps our overhead low so we can keep our prices inline. We greatly appreciate every one over the last year and look forward to the next!

440’ of lumber on the ground to start 2026. Grateful is an understatement for everything we have because of the last year. Some very very big things in the works for this year so we can’t wait to dig in..pun intended! Wishing everyone a safe holiday and great coming year!

We had a return customer give us a call about a patio slab for their backyard. Came up with a plan and submitted the paperwork for the job. Plans came due and we got to work. Fill, grading, boards and compaction and we we're ready for mud. Brisk 31 degree morning for the pour. It's funny the contrast between summer. You pour 6 yards in the summer and you're chasing your tail from start to finish. Winter you get it flat and wait three hours to do anything. We'll take it! Next steps are control joints and more fill dirt. We take the extra steps to get a nice taper down from the edge of the slab so no drop offs are created. We've been constantly working with the builders we sub for but we make the time for residential work when we can. Even if its a Saturday here and there! Thank you to everyone for a record year for us. We are more grateful than we can convey. We look forward to the coming year.

Got the call from a good friend of ours who said he needed some extra hands for their big 110 yard house slab. We told him to give us the call when he needed us and so he did. Just happened to fall on our first cold day this winter. Nice brisk 25 degrees for the pour. Went smooth and the job looks great. We have a community of people we work around that always look out for each other. Though we do similar work, were always up to lend a hand if we can to make sure the jobs turn out good. Defiantly a big pour for us!
