On Monday, Sept. 30, Brookwood Elementary School held its first “character education assembly” and recognized students who exhibited respect and responsibility in the months of August and September. Warrior Met Coal was pleased to be able to print and donate the certificates for that recognition. Pictured is BES Principal Michael Keeton. The donation is part of the Adopt-a-School program sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama.

We have been asked by Brookwood city officials to announce to our employees that the railroad track near No. 5 PP, on Lock 17 road, will be closed Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for repairs. Employees will need to use the Alabama Junction road as an alternate route.

These signs were donated as part of the Adopt-a-School program sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama. This week, Warrior Met Coal was pleased to donate a set of classroom signs for Brookwood Middle School. The signs are given as part of the Adopt-a-School program sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama.
