We were honored to host five members of the Royal Air Force of Oman at our Denver headquarters this week. Led by our CTO, Derek Sikora, VP of Training, Mike Martin, and Director of Sales & Hoist Instructor, Cody Berg, the delegation successfully completed Factory Acceptance Testing for a new batch of Vita Rescue Systems and received hands-on exposure to our full lineup of ARS equipment and training models.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the Royal Air Force of Oman and look forward to continuing our partnership.

Today, September 9, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) will host an event featuring keynote remarks from Senator Joni Ernst (IA) on her bill, the INNOVATE Act, followed by a fireside chat and a panel of industry leaders and policy experts.

Our CEO, Caleb Carr, will bring Vita’s perspective to the discussion, addressing how small businesses can translate SBIR investments into real-world innovation that strengthens national security and the industrial base.

The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program has been a cornerstone of U.S. innovation for more than four decades, fostering groundbreaking technologies that strengthen our industrial base. With SBIR authority set to expire at the end of September, the conversation around reauthorization and reform is both timely and vital.

On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) will host a discussion on the future of SBIR and small business innovation.

The program will feature keynote remarks from Senator Joni Ernst (IA) on the INNOVATE Act and the importance of reauthorizing SBIR, followed by a panel of leaders from government, industry, and venture capital examining how the program can be reformed to maximize impact.

We are proud that our CEO, Caleb Carr, will contribute to this dialogue, sharing insights from Vita’s journey as a SBIR company and highlighting the role of small businesses in delivering innovation at scale.

Incredible work by the Tennessee National Guard! The 1-230th Assault Helicopter Battalion’s quick response and precision saved a life during an ATV accident
