HIRING: HVAC Installer & Service Tech

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
• Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, mini splits, troubleshooting and installation of all residential systems
• Able to train and supervise others
• Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings
• General knowledge in all HVAC low voltage systems
• Ability to test and balance systems
• Understand and apply all codes for residential
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to invest in basic tools used in the install of HVAC equipment
• Operate power and hand tools safely
• Work from heights up to 30'

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle daily
• Complete residential installs to company standards
• Work well with customers and co-workers
• Run and work a job from start to finish
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude always
• Run a job without supervision
• Answer questions and train employees
• Test and balance residential HVAC systems
• Other duties as assigned

Pay: Based on experience

Additional Requirements:
Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and ability to sufficiently use tape measurer.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This position is frequently required to: drive a motor vehicle, stand, walk, reach and climb; grasp and lift objects weighing up to 100 lbs. This position is frequently required to: use hands, fingers to, handle, or feel; sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, lift, and crawl. Special hazards may include gas, electrical, moving mechanical parts, cleaning agents, dust and unconditioned spaces.

Experience: Lead Installer Position: HVAC Installation: 3 years (Preferred)
Lead Service Tech Position: HVAC Service: 5 years (Preferred)
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License: EPA Certification (Preferred)
Valid Driver's License (Required)

Squirrel's Gone Wild!!!! Huffed 10 lbs of refrigerant out of all 3 ports. Gotta eat through brass caps now if they want a fix

Warning!!!! This is not a test. It is hot. The difference between 95 degrees and 102 degrees is substantial. Be careful out there people!. Limit your outside time and stay indoors as much as you can. Yes for most of you 80 degree inside temp will be the best you can get right now.

Today 10yrs ago I started a little business called Glynn Air. I had no idea what I was doing or if it would survive but thanks to all of my wonderful clients/ friends here we are still going strong.
