This is the kind of upgrade that makes a real difference. This Harpswell home had an old fuse panel tucked into the kitchen wall the kind of setup you'll still find in a lot of older Maine homes. Outdated, cramped, and not built for the way we use electricity today.
We moved it outside and brought it up to modern standards.
What we did:

Removed the old fuse panel from the kitchen wall
Installed a new 100-amp breaker panel on an exterior wall
Clearly labeled every circuit
Added new kitchen and dining room lighting
Installed a new exterior light fixture
Fully permitted and code-compliant

Fuse panels were standard decades ago, but they can't safely handle modern electrical loads, and they make adding new circuits a headache. If your home still runs on fuses, it's worth a conversation.
