If you’ve been quoted an outrageous price for an HVAC repair and aren’t sure it’s necessary, it’s always worth getting a second opinion.

A recent customer was quoted over $2,000 to replace a supposedly leaking condenser coil. After performing my own inspection, I found no refrigerant leaks, and the system was still fully charged.

The actual problem? A stuck-closed damper motor.

We’d like to thank Trevino and Smith Funeral Home for trusting us with their HVAC needs.

They contacted us Monday afternoon regarding a no-cool issue. Upon inspection, we identified a significant leak in the evaporator coil. Our team returned Tuesday to replace the air handler and restore proper operation.
