First and foremost, all the glory and praise to God and Jesus Christ for blessing us with your presence today. It’s a miracle that He has not yet called your name to the heavenly gates, allowing us to celebrate this special milestone together.

Thank you, Dad, for being the hero of my life. Your journey over these 81 years on God's earthly land has been nothing short of inspiring. You have been the greatest friend, business partner, mentor, and support I could ever ask for. Your strength and love have shaped me into who I am today.

You know what’s not fair about saving for retirement?

It’s that the world we prepared for isn’t the world we’ve become.

Or where we’re heading.

Especially if you’re between 40-65.

Between Inflation, taxes, turmoil, tipping 20% on fast food, and lower market returns… when it comes to ensuring and growing your future wealth, the only thing for sure is…

Now, you may already have a Retirement Plan already in place. At least, I hope you do! But did you know that it’s likely based on information gathered in 1978? Because that’s when the 401(k) was established. And we’ve been aware that it's an outdated system since 2009. (Time Magazine literally wrote a cover story about it that November.)

Know what Uncle Sam did about it?

Nothing.

And the plan that was outdated 15 years ago certainly hasn't grown any more relevant over time. It’s now 50 years old. Which means you’re using strategies that came out the same year as the floppy disk.

And I’m not saying ALL the old advice doesn’t work. SOME of it still does…. It just doesn’t work WELL. And it can’t keep up with current trends.

Especially if you’re planning to retire within the next 10-25 years..

Because it seems as though everything Gen X’ers have been doing… everything they were taught to do… hasn’t panned out as promised.

Traditional Retirement Planning hasn’t aged well. (Like a banana.)

The world has evolved. And time is moving on whether you’re paying attention or not — especially for this age group where retirement is closer than they might realize.

Traditional plans aren’t keeping up. And they need an upgrade.

So, are you absolutely positive that you’re set up with a plan that’s efficient for TODAY’S economy (rising costs, higher taxes, escalating insurance, lower returns) and that your retirement plan has been updated to maintain the comfortable life you want when you retire?..

Good morning everyone wanted to share some words of what the verse of the day represents; take a moment and reflect on what we don’t see or maybe realize but hopefully this message will help who might need some guidance and understanding of the meaning as I myself reflect on.

Psalm 20:7 highlights a profound contrast between reliance on worldly power and trusting in divine strength. The verse states, "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God."

In ancient times, chariots and horses were symbols of military might and strength. People often placed their confidence in these tangible resources for protection and victory. However, the psalmist emphasizes a different approach: placing trust in God instead of in material or worldly power.

What our Applications in Daily Life should be focused on:

1. **Prioritizing Faith Over Materialism**: In our daily lives, we may encounter situations where we feel tempted to rely on our resources, relationships, or status for security. This verse reminds us to prioritize our faith and relationship with God as our ultimate source of strength.

2. **Facing Challenges**: When facing difficulties, it's easy to look for solutions in external circumstances—like financial resources, social connections, or personal abilities.
