We have decided it's a good time to close up shop and we will be suspending business operations going forward. However, we have a bunch of stuff we need to sell!

Here are 2 of 2 recently purchased in 2022 and lightly used Trimble GPS base/rover units in great condition: SPS 855 + Zephyr 3 + SPS 986 + T7 tablet. I also have one additional radio that can broadcast to Topcon equipment at 450MHz (Trimble is 900MHz). Asking Price = $28,500

I've got a good relationship with the Sitech guys and they can certify the equipment, if needed, but it's all in great working order.

We have decided it's a good time to close up shop and we will be suspending business operations going forward. However, we have a bunch of stuff we need to sell!

Phase 1 crane day at Scammon Creek. Got 25/45 LF of culvert set and started Ultrablock wing walls and temp eco block shoring walls. Tomorrow is weld, continue work on walls, backfill & grout before weekend. We have another big push next week to get the phase 2 road and traffic back over this culvert, complete structure excavation and prepare for install of the last 20 LF of phase 2 culvert and upstream Ultrablock walls next Friday.

Project: Scammon Creek at Graf Rd Culvert
Owner: Lewis County
Description: Replace 8’H x 12’W x 45’L squash pipe with 13’H x 24’W x 45’L precast concrete box culvert, 100% pump bypass. Only showing the 2 EA 12” primary pumps and 1 EA 12” backup pump to convey 11cfs, and there’s another 6” pump on standby for contingency high flow event of 21cfs which is probably 100-year storm in winter. Don’t think we even have 11cfs but we’ll see. There was a temp bridge in the design but it was shipping from New Jersey, so our creative construction group designed a temp road instead. This was challenging due to limited space and we still have to excavate and remove the existing culvert as well as install the new culvert in phases so we can keep traffic open for the duration of the project. We’re also going to test our model building skills and try out a 326 3D excavator from .cat for the precise excavation that is required. Is it enough hoe? We weren’t allowed access to the construction easement on the upstream side until 7/15 which is the same date as the fish window. Is there enough time? Get your rest, we’re hittin’ it hard on Monday.

Project: Mayfield Cove Lane Culvert for Tacoma Power at the Mayfield Dam. We were initially 3rd bidder, but we’ll take it!

Description: Remove a fish barrier and install a 25’ span aluminum plate culvert and wing walls on 40.5’L x 2.5’W x 5’H CIP footings, road excavation and a gravity block wall, some hdpe waterline, a new hydrant, paving and guardrail.

I don’t know who dug that pond, but ran out this morning and got our JD 700K to talk to our base, and my C-0.83’ to SG model looks pretty good. Concrete guy has a foot behind his curb. Lots of cobbles and boulders out here in Yelm town, but no gophers, and other than bouncing off rocks all day we got some stuff done at the Dog Park.

Late post from Scandia Road Culvert for Kitsap County. This was a tricky one because there was a top secret comm line that couldn’t be rerouted or spliced that we had to support during excavation and place it in a channel that was blocked out when they poured the box culvert. Utilities are always challenging, but we made it out unscathed. Went pretty good considering we bid it last December!
