Safety never takes a day off. ⚡

SDCEA linecrews took time before heading to their job sites earlier this week to sharpen a skill they hope they'll never need: pole top rescue.

This training prepares our crews to safely reach and assist a coworker who becomes unresponsive or unconscious while working atop a utility pole. It's a rare situation, but when seconds count, knowing the proper emergency steps can save a life.
