Down here in the cut, Jack is down in the hole moving rocks to get down to the pay layer. We carefully tune in the sluicebox to capture the ultra fine Colorado gold. What a beautuful day on the river!

I found a watermelon sized amethyst crystal treasure hunting gems and silver at the Last Chance Mine in Creede, Colorado!

Colorado is known as a fine gold state but there are areas that produce large flakes, pickers and even larger gold nuggets. Testing a new area with the 4" gold dredge yielded these results. At today's gold prices, this comes out to right around $150 per hour! Time to don the wetsuit n get dredging!
