The USA is accelerating the rebuilding of its rare earth magnet supply chain. The question is: who provides the key technology at the very beginning of that process?
Retech, a company within the SECO/WARWICK Group, will supply strip casting systems supporting NdFeB magnet production in the United States.
This is not “just another machine.” It is the foundation of the process — the rapid solidification of alloys into thin strips that become the base material for magnets used in electric motors and future technologies.
Because the properties of a magnet are not created at the end of the process. They begin here — with precise control of atmosphere, cooling, and crystallization.
“Advanced magnet manufacturing requires precision at every stage of the process…” emphasizes Earl Good, Vice President of the Vacuum Metallurgy Segment at the SECO/WARWICK Group and Managing Director of Retech.
