There’s something different about ending the workday knowing you helped build something tangible.

At NPT, our team designs, manufactures, and tests equipment that becomes part of the infrastructure people rely on every day.

It’s hands-on work. It’s challenging work. And there’s plenty to be proud of when you see the finished product.

A finished power transformer is where engineering and manufacturing come together.

Our engineers determine what the transformer needs to do and how it needs to perform. Then our manufacturing crews turn those plans into the equipment that will take on the job.

Different expertise. Different parts of the process.

One transformer built for one specific purpose.

You won't find our transformers in a catalog.

That's because no two applications are alike — different specs, different environments, different demands. Our engineers and production teams design and build to the job, not the other way around.

Custom, by design. Every time.

Power transformers aren't a commodity — they're engineered solutions. Voltage class, cooling method, footprint, application environment: every project brings its own set of variables.

Our team designs and builds to meet those variables head-on, not around them. That's the difference custom manufacturing makes.

Most people never think about power transformers.

That is...until the lights go out.

These machines work quietly around the clock, through every season, moving power safely to where it's needed most.

What we do may not be the flashiest job in the world. But it's one that keeps everything else running.

Some people measure their day in emails. We measure ours in pounds.

A 50-pound part? Easy.

500 pounds? Bring the forklift.

50,000 pounds? Now we're talking.

Working at Niagara Power Transformer opens your eyes to the weight of our work.

Power transformers never get a day off. They’re expected to work 24/7.

We know that because we’ve designed and manufactured them to do exactly that.

That’s why we make them with precision from concept to completion.

Dependability and performance start long before a transformer is powered up and running.
