I developed the Mohave Gold Miners page as a resource for those of us in the Tri-State area. It is intended for everyone, from those who know nothing but have an interest in gold prospecting to those who are experts in the field. I have been a prospector/miner for about 15 years now and consider myself an expert in placer mining. In Oregon, I was the founder and owner of Oregon Gold Adventures. I
would guide guests out in the field to learn how to locate, extract and pan their own gold. The company proved immensely popular and I even had guests internationally. However, I heard of a place where much more gold could be found, and where the sun shines well over 300 days/year...providing lots of opportunities to search for that elusive metal. And so...I moved here to Arizona. Along with the website (coming soon) and the book (being written), Mohave Gold Miners will be the one source for everything gold. We will have instructions, tutorials, videos, experts, a buying guide, equipment DIY's, history of the area, local and other gold deposit locations and so much more.
